The eminent L.A. choreographer, Roberto Amaral, returns to Santa Barbara
for a second exciting season of dance instruction. Amaral, recipient of
the Festival’s 2005 Lifetime Achievement Award, will teach a classical
Spanish dance class, and a Sevillanas class for adults.
The energy and excitement will continue with master classes taught by
Javier Barón and Javier Patino (principal guitarist).
Take this opportunity to learn from and meet some of the most
accomplished and respected artists from Spain and the U.S.
There is

The two hour classes are
only $22.50 per hour!

(Amaral) The class will
consist of choreography to Asturias by Albeniz. Ballet
students and teachers are encouraged to take this class.

por Bulerías and is for the experienced flamenco dancer.

CLASS SIZE:
Each class is limited to 30 participants. Buy your tickets early and
save!
TICKETS: Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Lobero
Theatre Box Office (805) 963-0761, or online at www.lobero.com. Box
office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and
Saturday, 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door, space
permitting,
one hour before class time. NO REFUNDS.
LOCATION: The Santa Barbara Ballet Center is located at 1019
Chapala Street (between Carrillo and Figueroa Streets). Enter through

PARKING: Parking is available in the City pay parking lot or on
the street.
ATTIRE: Recommended dance wear is a full skirt or comfortable
pants, and shoes with a sturdy heel.
