Javier Barón’s presentation of Dos Voces Para Un Baile (Two Voices for a
Dance) revisits two phases of his life through the voices of two singers
who have played significant roles in his artistic journey,
Antonio Campos and Miguel Ortega.
Baron’s initial experience took place in Madrid, where he started his
dancing career at the age of 11, and where he remained for 15 years. The
second experience took place in Sevilla, where he returned as a seasoned
artist, but more importantly, where he was born and where he finds his
roots,
his home, and his life.
Two voices, a melody, a dancer, and two regional time periods that fuse
together on stage into a dynamic music, song, and dance presentation
composed of more than twenty flamenco rhythms.
In his California debut, Barón is joined on stage with the voices of
Miguel Ortega and Jose Valencia, the guitars of Javier Patino and
Ricardo Rivera, and the palmas of El Choro and Juan Diego.
It is a spectacle not to be missed!
All events and artists are subject to change without prior notice.
Ticket prices are subject to a $3.00 Lobero Theatre Foundation facility
